I’m a an attachment-focused therapist based in the North East of England, offering a supportive space to explore what feels important to you.
My work is rooted in the belief that your life matters immensely and that you are a person of value who deserves to be listened to, seen and believed. I am here to support you in liberation from oppressive systems, social restraints and patterns that no longer serve you. I will facilitate your healing process, a process that for many of us started in a childhood that felt out of synch. I hope to help you move towards living fully within a community in which you feel seen, understood and valued.
I am a neuro-inclusive, anti-racist, sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ aware therapist who is committed to creating a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy, awareness, honesty, and radical respect. I honour the complexity of each person's lived experience and approach our work together with cultural humility and openness. I work in a person-centred way within the framework of attachment. You do not need to fit any mould to be here. All parts of you are welcome.
You may be here because something doesn’t quite fit. Perhaps relationships feel difficult, work feels overwhelming, or you’ve spent years carrying a sense of being different without knowing why. You might have a clear understanding of what brings you here, or you may simply feel that things are harder than they seem to be for others.
My work has mainly centred around those who feel unseen, misunderstood, or out of step with traditional expectations. This includes those diagnosed, self‑diagnosed, or exploring ADHD, autism and other neuro-divergent conditions. Those who are child‑free, those navigating complex family dynamics, people experiencing challenging or non‑traditional family relationships and those navigating the complex landscape of menopause. What connects this work is not identity labels, but the felt experience of carrying difference, uncertainty, or quiet strain. While these are areas of particular experience and interest, I welcome anyone seeking a supportive space to explore whatever may be troubling them.
In therapy, I aim to offer a space where these experiences can be explored without judgement or pressure to fit a particular narrative. Whether you are seeking clarity, support through a period of change, or simply somewhere to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, we can work together at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful and grounded in the belief that feeling understood can be an important first step towards meaningful change.
“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation.”
